THE HENRI COANDA CHALLENGE IS A WONDERFUL TEAM BUILDING OCCASION WHICH PRESENTS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK WITH INDUSTRY PEERS AND PROMOTE YOUR BRAND AMONGST A RELEVANT AUDIENCE.
A community of like-minded professionals coming together in an informal setting: to provide a wonderful team building opportunity; to build a network of contacts with a common interest in Aviation; and, to support in a very visible and practical way, Aerobility, a British charity established in 1993 that offers disabled people, without exception, the opportunity to fly an airplane.
An evening dinner and wonderful networking opportunity in the Royal Southern Yacht Club in Hamble village on Tuesday, 14 Jun 22 is followed by a day of racing on the Solent on Wednesday, 15 Jun 22 to promote the physical and mental health and wellbeing of the workforce (PPN 06/20 - MAC 7.1).
An auction of promises is held to raise the awareness of, and funds for Navy Wings and Aerobility.
Aerobility was established in 1993 by a group of passionate aviators to use the challenges of flight and exposure to aviation as a tool for improving the lives of those with a disability. For some, that first flight can change their outlook on disability forever. Whatever the age and whatever the impairment, Aerobility gives everyone the chance to fly by using adapted aircraft, supporting equipment and specialist instruction.
3 double cabins and 2 single berths afloat in Port Hamble provided. Shower and toilet facilities are available in the marina complex.
Local B&B or hotels in Southampton can be arranged, but are not included in the price of the event.
After a comprehensive safety briefing and risk assessment yachts will proceed down river and out into Southampton Water for familiarisation and crew training prior to the start of the first race.
Up to seven people, under the guidance of a professional skipper, sailing one of a matched fleet of up to 16 MCA coded Beneteau Oceanis 37 yachts.
Sailing in the Solent, the UK's premier sailing area, the event raises awareness of, and money for, a splendid charity.
