THE SUPERYACHT DESIGN CHALLENGE IS A WONDERFUL TEAM BUILDING OCCASION WHICH PRESENTS A FANTASTIC OPPORTUNITY TO NETWORK WITH INDUSTRY PEERS AND PROMOTE YOUR BRAND AMONGST A RELEVANT AUDIENCE.
A community of like-minded professionals coming together in an informal setting: to provide a wonderful team building opportunity; to build a network of contacts with a common interest in the design and operation of SuperYachts; and, to support The SuperYacht Charities, in a very visible and practical way.
An auction of promises will be held to raise the awareness of Yacht Crew Help, and funds for the the many benefactors of the SuperYacht Charities.
THE CHARITY
Active since 2012, the SuperYacht Charities (SYC) aims to bring together a full cross-section of the SuperYacht Industry to raise awareness and fund for charitable causes. The SYC are pleased to support the fundraising activities of other organisations across the SuperYacht Industry.
ACCOMMODATION
3 double cabins and 2 single berths afloat in Port Hamble provided. Shower and toilet facilities are available in the marina complex.
Local B&B or hotels in Southampton can be arranged, but are not included in the price of the event.
RACE DAY
After a comprehensive safety briefing and risk assessment yachts will proceed down river and out into Southampton Water for familiarisation and crew training prior to the start of the first race.
TEAM
Up to seven people, under the guidance of a professional skipper, sailing one of a matched fleet of up to 16 MCA coded Beneteau Oceanis 37 yachts.
Sailing in the Solent, the UK's premier sailing area, the event raises awareness of, and money for, a splendid charity.
